Where does our Afghan hash come from?
Our Afghan hash originates in the Hindu Kush mountain range, from the Mazar-i-Sharif and Balkh regions where traditional hand-rolling has been practised for centuries. Resin is sieved from sun-dried indica plants then hand-pressed with a small amount of water until it turns dense, near-black and glossy — the signature look of authentic Afghan.
What does Afghan hash look and taste like?
Afghan is the darkest variety in our menu — typically deep brown to near-black on the outside with a softer, lighter centre when broken open. The aroma is earthy, woody and slightly sweet, sometimes with a faint coffee note. On combustion it burns slow and clean, with a thick smoke that feels heavier than Moroccan or California hash.
How strong is Afghan hash?
Afghan is a top-shelf, high-strength variety. Indica-dominant genetics deliver a powerful, long-lasting body stone — deeply relaxing, mildly sedative and ideal for evening use, sleep or pain relief. It is not the right choice if you want to stay productive: a small piece goes a very long way.
How to use Afghan hash
Because Afghan is dense, warm a small piece briefly with a lighter or between your fingers before crumbling it into a joint or pipe. Vaporise at 180–200°C for a cleaner experience that preserves the indica terpenes. Start tiny — match-head size — and wait at least 15 minutes before redosing.
